NINA DEFABIO- Founder & Literacy Specialist
Nina DeFabio is the founder of Core Bloom Learning, where she provides personalized tutoring designed to support each child’s unique learning journey. As a dedicated tutor and Wilson trained dyslexia practitioner, Nina specializes in tailored, supportive, multi-sensory learning that helps children build strong foundations in reading and beyond.
With over 8 years of teaching experience across elementary learners, Nina currently holds a position as a reading specialist. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how children learn, particularly those who benefit from structured, explicit, and engaging approaches to literacy.
Nina founded Core Bloom Learning to bring a more engaging, multi-sensory approach to education. She recognized that many children thrive when learning is hands-on, visual, and thoughtfully structured, and wanted to create a space where learning feels accessible, meaningful, and positive.
At the heart of her approach is a commitment to supporting each learner in building confidence and independence. Core Bloom Learning creates a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and capable, empowering them to grow not only in their skills, but in their belief in themselves.
